(Assist. Prof., Ph. D. [Chem.]), Tatarinov G.A. (Postgrad. Stud.) Correlation times of rotation mobility (τñ) of two radical of different molar volume in BNK (BNKS and SKN) of different NAK content were studied by EPR-spectroscopy. Difference in comonomer composition of disordered parts of BNKS and SKN are determined. Conclusion is made that aggregation degree of parts of alternating units is lower, and density of chain fragment in the disordered part of BNKS is also lower. Data are shown that presence of the ordered structures of large dimensions in BNKS results in decrease of flexibility of interchains more than small nanostructures in SKN. (Eng.), Mokhnatkina E.G. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Chair), Batrshina R.R. (Eng.) Effect of content of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) and their carboxylated analogues (SWCNT-COOH) on the physical and mechanical properties of sulfur vulcanizates of NR, SBR, and HNBR have been studied. It is found that the polarity of the rubber has a significant influence on the elongation at break of vulcanizates, their strength, hardness and rebound resilience. The effect of polarity of the rubber on the dependence of the strain at 100, 200 and 300 % elongation of vulcanizates on the content of SWCNT and SWCNT-COOH is also shown. Study of Dielectric Properties of Vulcanizates Dorozhkin V.P. (Prof., D. Sc. [Chem.]), Muradyan V.E. (Ph. D. [Chem.], Deputy Director), Mokhnatkin A.M. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Department.), Mokhnatkina E.G. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Chair), Mukhtarov A.R.(Eng.), Batrshina R.R. (Eng.) Dielectric properties, electrical conductivity γ', and dynamical mechanical properties of some sulfur vulcanizates based on rubbers of different chemical nature: NR, SÂR, and HNBR were studied. Vulcanizates were filled with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) in amount 0,05%-0,3% (mas.), some with chemically modified SWCNT of –ÑÎÎÍ group on the surface. Components of complex dielectric permitttivity ε', ε'', and γ', as well as dielectric tgδ were measured at frequency range of 10 1 - 107 Hz at room temperature, components of complex dynamical mechanical modulus G′ and G′′ in temperature range of -80 - +80ºÑ at heating rate 1ºÑ/min. Connection of the dependencies of the effect of SWCNT on both electric and mechanical properties of vulcanizates with polarity of rubber is shown, particularly differed the values and frequency positions of ε'' minimums. A possible explanations of results connected with views on structure of vulcanizates filled with SWCNT are under consideration. (Prof., D. Sc. [Chem.]), Mukhtarov A.R. (Eng.), Mokhnatkin A.M. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Department), Muradyan V.E. (Ph. D. [Chem.], Deputy Director), Mokhnatkina E.G. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Chair) The results of the study on the influence of OCSiAl single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) on the properties of rubber compounds based on different rubbers and with different fillers are summarized. The whole group of properties is considered systematic: electrical and elastic properties; processing and vulcanization properties of rubber compounds; physical and mechanical properties; service properties of treads. Comparative analysis of the influence of the chemical nature of rubber, different types of fillers (carbon black of different activity, silica), type of SWCNT and its content is presented. (Ph. D. [Techn.], Chief of Sector) The data suggested the monitoring of conveyor belts at service for increase of their durability is summarized. The photos of different type of wear are presented. The increase of the strength of rubber under different conditions is recommended in the case of different type of wear: at abrasive wear the increase of usual tensile strength, at «rolling up» wear the increase of tearproof, at fatigue wear besides both of this types of strength, to increase the dynamic fatigue strength. It is possible to correct the properties of rubber and belts timely taking into account the monitoring data. It opens the possibility to provide long-term business relation with consumers. In the first part are presented the basic notions and definitions of project management. Are given the description of project formats and their contents. Are shown the structural and organizational charts of project management in two main formats; are revealed their features and differences. In the second part, planned to be published in the next issue of the journal, will be considered a number of typical problems and solutions for the successful implementation of projects. (Assist. Prof., Ph. D. [Phys.-Mat.], Chief Res.) Review devoted to concepts on reinforcement of rubbers. Model based on assumption of existence of thin pseudo glassy layer of rubber matrix on the surface of filler particles is presented. Glassy state is undergoing in rubberlike one with the increase of the distance from the surface of particles. Under deformation the more deformed macromolecules go out from the glassy layers; this mechanism is similar to mechanism of forced elasticity.
