(P. 16) Properties of blends of BNR (for example BNKS-18AMN) and small quantities of silicone rubbers have been studied. According to the data of dielectric relaxation the use of these additives results in the change of the nature of the nearby packing of the rubber. The strongest effects on temperature of tangent of dielectric losses tgδmax as well as the changes of dielectric permeability ∆ε' at the α-transition are observed at the introduction of low-molecular polymethyl(hexafluoroalkyl)silicones SKTNFT-K-50 and SKTNFT-K-100. Substantial increase of the strength of vulcanizates based on these systems is shown. Volfson S.I., Nikiforov A.A. Yarullin R.S. (P. 18) Effect of coagent of peroxide modification of different chemical structure on viscous properties of binary blends of polypropylene (80%) and ethylene-propylene or ethylene-propylene diene rubbers (20%), has been studied. Possibility of variation of viscous properties by the chose of coagent or by the change of quantity of peroxide is shown. (P. 30) Four ways of calculation of temperature of the metal of a nipple in the area of a rubber assembling are presented. Their analysis opens the possibility to reduce the temperature of the metal. The most effective method, which allows the nipple welding without delaminating and thermal destruction of rubber, has been determined. Nanocomposites Based on 1,2-Polybutadiene Modified by Nano-Sized Titania – Yulovskaya V.D., Kosova O.V., Kuzmicheva G.M., Monakhova T.V., Karpova S.G., Domoroschina E.N. (P. 36) Effect of nano-sized titania (NST) prepared by sulfate technique (anatase and η-TiO2) and commercial Degussa P25 on properties of their composites with 1,2-polybutadiene (1,2PB) is studied by a complex of methods. Mixtures were prepared with LB 300 160/160 laboratory rolls by stirring for 10 min. Elastomer was first modified with a curative group (sulfur, zinc oxide, stearic acid, dibenzothiazolylsulfide and tetramethyltiuramdisulfide) and then with NST. The NST structure is shown to affect the degree of interaction between 1,2-PB and titania. Titania introduction extends the temperature range of the material working capacity. (P. 40) Results of the development of sealing rubbers based on blends of propylene oxide (PO) and ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene (UPTFE) for North appliances are presented. Positive effect on the material properties is achieved at addition of 0.5 – 1,0 parts by weight of UPTFE per 100 parts by weight of PO. This is due to the high activity of particles UPTFE, their nanostructure organization and uniformity of their distribution in the elastomer matrix. RF patent is received on the formulation of rubber.
