(P. 2). Properties of compounds based on NR containing nanofillers (Montmorillonite and fullerene-containing carbon black) as well as compounds based on blends of NR with butadiene rubber containing special organo-element Lubricant K 95 have been studied by complex of different methods. The change some of the studied properties.in presence of small amount of all these components is shown. Comparative Study on the Use of Reclaim and Fine Powder in Different Tyre Tread Compounds – Hendriks A.P.M., Martinez Antonio M.E. (P. 6). Results on comparative study on the use of reclaim and fine powder obtained from worn-out tyres are presented. Properties of tread compounds with the powder of particle dimensions less than 0,250 mm are the same or even better than properties of compounds with reclaim. Effect of Treatment of Skim Natural Rubber Latex on Properties of Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes – Sakdapipanich I., Nawamawat K. (P. 9). The possibility of the use the skim natural rubber latex to produce the pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes is shown. The treatment of latex by NaOH at 70 OÑ for 3 hours results in removal of nonrubber components and improvement of the adhesion properties. Enzymatic Purification of Natural Rubber Latex – Sawatklang S., Siwarungson N., Kokanutaporn S. (P. 12 ). Purification of natural rubber latex by means of enzymes results in decrease of content of nonrubber components. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) technique was used to confirm the quality of purified natural rubber. Properties of latex films of medical glove formula obtained with treated and untreated latex are compared. Multiaxial Anisotropic Stress-softening Constitutive Equation – Shariff M.H.B.M. (P. 16). Model of tress-softening in rubberlike materials (Mullins effect) have been proposed. Several experimental data by different authors exhibiting anisotropic behavior under different types of deformation are compared with obtained theoretical results. Life Time Prediction of Rubber Products for Automobile Parts – Kim J.K., Jung J.H., Yang K.-M. (P. 19). A new modified Arrhenius equation was derived using the temperature and stress as major parameters in predicting the life time of the rubber articles. The results are compared to results of model and field tests of articles. The morphological analysis of the articles after field test are fulfilled by means of electron microscopy. Gradient Elastic Polymer Materials of Continuous and Smooth Transition from Plastic to Rubber – Askadskii A.A., Luchkina L.V., Goleneva L.M. (P. 21). Methods of block polymerization and hot moulding were in use to obtain polyurethane materials of continuous changes of modulus from values specific to glass to values specific to rubberlike polymers. Chemical processes involved are under consideration. The Use of Hydrogenated Elastomers in Blend and Dynamic Thermoplastic Elastomers – Zemskii D.N., Ivanov V.P., Kazakov Yu.M., Vol’fson S.I., Dorozhkin V.P. (P. 27). The improvement of properties of blend and dynamic thermoplastic elastomers as a result of the addition of small amount of hydrogenated isoprene or butadiene rubbers for increase of miscibility of components is shown. Increase of crystallinity of Polypropylene in presence of hydrogenated rubbers is considered as the evidence of participation of rubber in this process. Vulcanization of Rubber Compounds Based on Styrene-Butadiene Rubber SKMS-30 ARKM-15 under Action of Ceramic IR Sources – Nazarov E.S., Yusupbekov A.Kh. (P. 29). New ceramic composition of compounds for IR sources is offered. Power of IR radiation is shown to be determining factor in properties of vulcanized rubbers. Optimum conditions of vulcanization of thin-walled rubbers under action of IR sources are established New Geometrical Characteristics of Carbon Black – Tutorskii I.A., Roldugin V.I., Zatevalov A.M., Vishnyakov I.I. (P. 30). The method of fractal dimension determination of carbon black aggregates and agglomerates is described. Method is based on the measurement of oil capacity by absorption of DBF on absorptometer “Brabender” after compression under different pressures. The displacement of plunger is measured; it characterized the free volume decrease at fixed pressure. The method of calculation of fractal dimension using this data is presented. Effect of Small Addition of Fiber Fillers on Properties of Styrene-Butadiene Raw Rubber and Vulcanizates – Akatova I.N., Nikulin S.S., Sedykh V.A. (P. 32). Effect of small addition of Capron and Viscose fibrous at the stage of formation-and-finishing of rubber from latex on processing and mechanical properties of styrene-butadiene rubber and vulcanizates have been studied. Results of swelling show the presence of interaction of rubber with acidified surface of Capron and absence of interaction with Viscose. Purification of Sewage at Production of Rubber Latex Goods – Berestnev V.A., Trofimovich D.P., Lopatin V.V. (P. 35). The data about pollution of sewage on different technological stages of latex goods production and list of main polluting substances are presented. The method of sewage purification is recommended as well as technological scheme and the list of equipment and reagents used. Rubber to Metal Cord Bonding with the Use of Compounds of Metal of Variable Valence – Bobrov Yu.A., Kandyrin K.L., Shmurak I,L., Potapov E.E. (P. 37). Review of data concerning rubber to metal cord bonding. Improving of adhesion with the use of cobalt and some other substances is under consideration as well as assortment of these substances.
