(P. 52) Content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in specimens of carbon black, domestic oil-extended styrene-butadiene rubber and tread rubber has been studied. The results obtained are compared with that obtained by means of ISO method. The possibility of the use of the proposed method to evaluate the carcinogenicity of vulcanized rubbers and ingredients is shown. It is determined that carcinogenic-safe rubber is obtainable only at the use of carcinogenic-safe ingredients. Technological rules are developed and corresponding draft law is reported at session of relevant committee of State Duma.
