Competition or Symbiosis? – R. Stober (P. 2). Detailed analysis of properties of tire rubbers for cars and tracks with the use of silica / silane and carbon black have been presented. The competition between these fillers is shown to be the driving force for further innovations. Results of development of nanostructure carbon blacks by Degussa are under consideration. Competition and symbiosis is the answer on the initial question. Thermoinitiation of Radical Polymerisation of Isoprene and Styrene in the Presence of Nitrons – Strygina A.I., Potapov E.E., Boreiko N.P., Strygin V.D. (P. 7). Results of polymerization of isoprene and styrene without the initiator in the presence of nitrons of various structure have been presented. Molecular-mass characteristics and EPR spectrums of obtained samples give prove to the presence of stable nitroxyl radicals in the system. Mechanism of participation of nitrons in the isoprene and styrene polymerization process is suggested. Local Dynamics and Viscoelastic Properties of Cured Butadiene-Nitrile Rubbers – Solov’ev M.E., Solov’eva O.Yu., Goptsev A.V. (P. 11). The influence of monosulfide cross-linking of butadiene-nitrile copolymers of 1,4-trans configuration of butadiene units on their local mobility have been studied by the methods of molecular dynamics. Localization and structure of junctions are under consideration. Model of a physical network of intermolecular interactions of nitrile groups is in use for interpretation of obtained stress-strain curves of cured samples. Specific Features of the Reinforcement of Butadiene Acrylonitrile Rubber by Furnace Carbon Black of High Porosity – Nikitin Yu.N., Khodakova S.Ya., Rodionov V.A. (P. 16). The advantages of furnace carbon black of high porosity over commercially available ones are shown. In particular, there is no need in addition amount of sulfur under vulcanization of butadiene acrylonitrile rubber. The advantages are especially evident under non-sulfur vulcanization. Effect of Stearic and Oleic Acids on Molecular-Topological Structure of Rubber Compounds Based on Methylstyrene-Butadiene Rubber – Rakhmatullina A.P., Ol’khov Yu.A., Akhmed’yanova R.A., Liakumovich A.G. (P. 17). Effect of both stearic and oleic acids and their mixtures on molecular-topological structure of rubber compounds based on methylstyrene-butadiene rubber have been studied by means of analysis of thermomechanical curves obtained under constant load. Rubber compounds with mixture of acids of optimal composition show the best properties. Effect of Chemical Nature of Latex on Wear Resistance of Latex-Treated Nonwoven Material – Dedov A.V., Bokova E.S. (P. 22) The concentration of rubber in latex for latex-treated nonwoven polish material providing the best wear resistance is different for different rubbers. Deviation from optimal concentration results in significant decrease in wear resistance. Reclaim of the Cured Sealants Based on Thiol-Containing Oligomers – Markov V.V., Reznichenko S.A., Evreinov Yu.V., Ionov Yu.A., Morozov Yu.L. (P. 24). The metod for reclaiming of the cured sealants based on thiol-containing oligomers has been developed. The hardening of the reclaimed sealants was studied by means of IR-spectroscopy and other methods. The possibility of cold hardening in some cases is shown. Mechanism of processes is suggested. The Use of Differential Scanning Calorimetry to the Investigation of Vulcanization of Isoprene Rubber – Ostroukhova O.A., Kolesnikova N.N., Yulovskaya V.D., Popov A.A., Shershnev V.A. (P. 28). The possibility to use DSC under heating and isothermal regime to the investigation of sulfur accelerated vulcanization of isoprene rubber is shown. Effect of regime used and heating rate on vulcanization parameters is studied. Criteria for Evaluation of Service Quality of Conveyer Belts – Golikov G.F., Ryabov D.V. (P. 31). Criteria for evaluation of service quality of conveyer belts have been under discussion. Safe service, elongation (elastic and residual), trough formation, and butt joining are suggested as important criteria. Fillers for Fluoroelastomers – Nudel’man Z.N. (P. 33). Review of data concerning the application of carbon black and inorganic fillers in rubber compounds based on fluoroelastomers. The Basic Approach to Development of Coupling between Silica and Rubber – Kandyrin K.L., Karpova A.N. (P. 38). Review of data and some consideration concerning principles of development of coupling agents for silica. Improvement of Tire Metal Cord – Shmurak I.L. (P. 43). Review of data concerning recent developments of tire metal cord of different design and surfaces. Inorganic elastomer-like Materials – Zuev Yu.S. (P. 47). The possibility of development of inorganic (ceramic or metal) elasomer-like materials of special shape of cells, providing high rubberlike deformation, are under consideration. XII Conference Devoted to Enikolopov – Zaikov G.E., Artsis M.I. (P. 48). Review of papers presented on 12th Conference devoted to Enikolopov (March 12 2004, Moscow, Institutes of Synthetic Polymer Materials by N.S. Enikolopov RAN). |
